Blue Hill, Blue Hill at Stone Barns
Located in the Berkshires, in Massachusetts, Blue Hill Farm has been in the Barber family for three generations and has been the inspiration behind both Blue Hill restaurants. It was at the farm that Dan first discovered the intimate connection between great farming and delicious food. In 2004, Dan and his brother David reestablished Blue Hill Farm as a dairy, recruiting local farmer Sean Stanton to oversee the land. Populated with chickens, dairy cows, and laying hens, Blue Hill Farm supplies the restaurants with vegetables, grass-fed meats, and fresh milk.
