Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup All purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 each Large eggs
  • 1 cup 2% or Whole milk
  • 1 medium Granny Smith apple, peeled-sliced thin & cut in half
  • 2 each Cooked chicken apple sausages, cut in half & sliced thin
  • To taste Salt
  • For drizzling Maple syrup

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder & a few pinches of salt until well incorporated. Whisk in the eggs & milk to form a smooth batter. Stir in the apples & sausage.
  2. Heat an Anolon 11” Square Griddle on medium to med-high heat (it might take a pancake or two to get the heat adjusted just right). Place a ladle full of batter in the middle of the pan & smooth out the batter evenly. Cook for a couple of minutes until the bottom is nicely browned. Flip the pancake over & cook for an additional minute or two until the bottom has browned.
  3. Repeat the steps until you run out of batter. Serve the pancakes with maple syrup.
