  • 2/3 cup popcorn kernels
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  1. Combine the oil and popcorn kernels in a large pot over medium-high heat. Cover and cook, shaking pot, until popcorn pops, 3-5 minutes; pour popcorn into a large bowl.
  2. Combine the butter, cumin, chipotle pepper, and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat. Melt the butter and cook, stirring 1 minute. Pour over popcorn while stirring to coat evenly.
